Prof. Dr. Bozhidar Ivanov are presented. His contributions to the study of the distribution, biology, ecology and conservation of birds are highlighted, as well as his activities as chairman of the Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds \u2013 one of the most active conservation organizations in Bulgaria.
